Junyao Zhang (Mike) is a nationally board certified and New York State licensed acupuncturist. He currently sees patients at Chung Ying Physical Therapy & Acupuncture, located in Forest Hills, NY. Mr. Zhang received his Master of Science in Healthcare from New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has been practicing acupuncture since then.

Mr. Zhang is a member of the Acupuncture Society of New York. His practice focus includes pain management, sports injuries, insomnia, sleep disorders, stress release, depression, anxiety, headaches, digestive issues, and women’s health issues, such as infertility and endometriosis.

Mr. Zhang recognizes the connection between mind and body. He strives to help his patients heal physically, mentally, and emotionally. His patients often leave each of his treatment sessions feeling lighter and at ease. As a bilingual acupuncturist speaking English and Mandarin Chinese, Mr. Zhang provides the best form of care to patients from different cultural backgrounds. He is proficient in the management of a variety of conditions, and offers warm, empathic, and collaborative care.
